Get Outlook FREE from Microsoft. (Really.)
Don't have Outlook? Don't worry. Microsoft is currently offering a free trial kit for Small Business Server 2003 that comes with a free copy of Outlook 2003—a full, registered version with no expiration date. The trial period for the rest of the software is 180 days, and the software cannot be split or resold. All you have to do is pay shipping and handling on the trial CD. Click here to order directly from Microsoft. (It may take a couple of weeks for the CD to arrive.) You can also get Outlook 2007 or Entourage 2004 free with Exchange Server hosting (highly recommended).
Mozy Remote Backup (Free, Home, and Professional)

Reminders in Public Folders or Outlook 2003
Trog Bar makes Reminder Dates more useful than ever. However, Outlook 2003 doesn't show Reminder alerts unless the task/email resides in the Inbox, Calendar, or Tasks folder, and Exchange Server won't show you Reminder alerts in shared public folders.
